Lord, help me!

So here I sit, just after 9pm, at the computer.

Sitting. Surfing. Generally wasting time.

Normally not a huge deal at 9pm at night...except for the fact that tomorrow at 10am we have our first showing since we've put the condo back on the market 2 months ago.

WHAT AM I DOING ONLINE!?

There are floors to be swept, mopped and vacuumed.

There are surfaces to be dusted and windows to shine.

There is a bathroom to be cleaned. (Nah...I'll let Eric have that one)

And yet here I sit, quite uninspired and generally having one of those "down" sort of nights.

Maybe it's because this is our FIRST showing in 2 months.

Maybe because this showing tomorrow is what's called a "agent preview", which means no actual buyers will be coming thru, just an agent.

Now, of course this agent could be representing someone out there actually looking for a condo in our area and he/she is truly doing a preview to save their buyer some time. But all I can think of is, "what if it's just some newbie realtor come to cruise the building, getting a feel for the place, effectively wasting his time and mine?" The world may never know.

But, nevertheless, the house has to be in "showing order" so as to put our best foot forward in the hopes that this preview actually turns into a repeat showing with actual buyers stepping foot into the place.

And yet here I sit.

Lord, HELP ME!

Another Citizen of Heaven!!!

Mark 13:32-37:
The Day and Hour Unknown
32 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. 34 It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with an assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
35 "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' "
These precious words from the Good Book will never leave my soul. For tonight, during our family's nightly devotion time, God used them to speak to our son's spirit, urging him to ask Jesus to be in his life as his personal Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord. Thank you.

(Faith's sweet note to Eric, as he's working OT tonight, placed on the outside of our front door.)

Mom of the Year

There are no less than 10 piglets suckling all day long...

...ALL of whom find it natural to use their very high-pitched squeal
to indicate their every emotion.

You KNOW she never loses that baby weight!

And she STILL has a smile on her face!

GOD BLESS HER!
